When younger she had a decade of dedication to Wado-Ryo Karate under her belt and holds a 2nd Degree Black Belt and has proudly represented England on both National and International stages.

Her martial arts not only shaped her discipline and focus but also sparked a passion for mentoring the next generation and guiding young students through their journey and growing confidence on and off the mat.

Outside the Dojo, she finds her strength and serenity in the stables. The horses she owns, she has broken in personally, process she has mastered with patience, respect and deep connection.

Whether she is throwing punches or saddling up she leads with precision, passion and purpose.

Her outstanding attitude as a coach makes her an inspiration to the future generation.

MR ATKINSON - INSTRUCTOR

Mr Atkinson brings a strong work ethic, along with practical experience and a real life passion into his MF Martial Arts journey.

With his background from the building trade, he has developed discipline, resilience and a practical hands on mindset that is clear in everything he puts his mind to. Something that has been demonstrated in his own Martial Arts journey, with his family, he understands the value of working hard, consistency and leading by example.

A big football fan, also enjoying the Gym and the Great Outdoors, he leads an active lifestyle and believes in the importance of both psychical strength and mental toughness.

Above all he values quality time with his family – something that has naturally led him into MF Martial Arts in the first place. A journey that began from supporting from the sidelines, soon became something more.

After witnessing first hand the confidence, growth and life skills his daughters developed on the program, he felt inspired to step forward himself. He is committed to learning, improving and helping other families build the same self belief, resilience and self confidence.

Mr Atkinson leads with humility, effort and heart – and is proud to be part of the MF Family.

Meet the McMurray Family – Mighty Matts Class Ambassadors

At MF Team Woollard, one of the most rewarding parts of what we do is watching children grow in confidence, character, and belief in themselves — and Greta McMurray’s journey has been truly incredible to witness.

Since joining our Mighty Matts program, Greta has developed so much more than martial arts skills. Week by week, her confidence has grown, her focus has improved, and she continues to become stronger, more independent, and more self-assured both in and out of class.

Her parents, Mr & Mrs McMurray, have seen first-hand the positive impact the MF program has had on Greta’s life and development. Through her journey, they have become passionate supporters of the values and life skills we teach every single week.

We are incredibly proud to have the McMurray family supporting our Mighty Matts program as Class Ambassadors — helping encourage new families, sharing their experiences, and championing the positive difference martial arts can make in a child’s life.

The Mighty Matts journey is about far more than kicks and punches. It’s about building confidence, resilience, discipline, respect, and helping children believe in themselves — and Greta is a fantastic example of exactly that.

We’re excited to continue supporting Greta on her journey and are so grateful to have the McMurray family as part of the MF family.
